I have been grounded in the physical, the science of the body, the protocols of movement. I have developed an understanding of the mind to body and body to mind loop and how this impacts movement as well as self-perception. I am intuitive and empathic. And what I offer is an integration of this.

Along with my professional, personal and academic development, my life experiences, my work with clients, and my own body story have provided the foundation for my teaching. From a young age, I have been interested in movement: whether sport, fitness, or lifestyle. Moving and being physical has always given me an opportunity for belonging as well as for grounding and self-regulation. As an athlete I was all about pushing myself and achieving excellence. With maturity, that perspective shifted into understanding the importance of physical awareness and listening to what our bodies are telling us. I have undertaken my own body journey that has included seeing my life and experiences from the perspective of my body. I have discovered this story through writing but also through tuning in as well as spending time sensing and understanding how muscles work and move me, and how my body wants and doesn’t want to move. This has helped me to connect with the patterns, beliefs, restrictions and ease that have lived within me.

Your body is home to all that you are: sensations, feelings, energy, soul, mind, consciousness. To truly know your “home” is a pathway to connecting to all that you are and to all that you embody. It is a pathway to sensing what is within you as well as a bridge to what is beyond you.

WhyThe Turquoise Body?

I have always loved turquoise, both the color and the stone. The color reflects the sea and sky. The energy of the stone heals us physically, reduces stress, and encourages compassion. Turquoise balances our emotions and energy, enhances our spiritual connection and intuition, and improves our ability to communicate and express our truth. Imagine allowing all that turquoise, energy and color, to completely fill your body. That is what I imagined. And so, The Turquoise Body came to life to represent our embodied and authentic capacity to move, sense, intuit, communicate, and live in alignment and wholeness.
