August 2026: A Coming Together and a Beginning
Updated: Sep 1

Something was missing for me.
For years, I have written and processed, in the privacy of my own mind and journal – my healing journey, feelings, and insights as well as perspectives on the body, movement, wellness and the human experience. Some ideas I would share and incorporate into my work with clients.
But I felt I wasn’t fully integrating all the ways I had come to understand the body, through study, experience, and intuition.
I felt like I was just brushing the surface. I began to understand that there was a foundation of movement, sensing and understanding that was needed. A foundation that could translate into improvements in strength, mobility, and greater ease of movement, while also guiding people toward something deeper: trust in body and self.
The past year has been powerful for me. After leaving the fitness center in May of 2025, I intentionally established more time for creating and learning. I taught a class that fall that went well, but still, something felt incomplete. When I considered offering a similar class again this spring, I realized that I needed to go deeper. Before creating more classes, I needed to become clearer about the foundation beneath them.
Something shifted in me.
I decided it was time to be vulnerable and step forward. To give structure to what had been living within me for years. To create a foundational teaching system that could hold the depth of what I wanted to share - and allow me to express it authentically.
I have renewed my website. I have a new logo, beautifully drawn by my older daughter, that reflects a personal story that I look forward to sharing another time.
And this fall, I will be offering the first beta workshop.
The Turquoise Body Foundational Series
We are often told to engage our core, use our glutes, relax our shoulders, listen to our body, or become more embodied. But how do we develop the sensing awareness that allows us to do this?
In this workshop, we will begin at the root, with the feet and pelvis, and explore intentional muscle activation, sensing awareness, integrated movement, somatic release, reflection and the experience of remaining connected within ourselves while engaging with the world around us.
The workshop cycles through my 5-Step Somatic Pathway™: Move · Sense · Reflect · Understand · Expand
I am calling this a beta because I am ready to move this work from the page into lived experience. I want to share it with a small group, learn from the experience of teaching it, and invite participants to share their perspectives with me afterward.
This feels like both a coming together and a beginning.
I have spent years finding my way to this work. Now I am ready to experience where it goes when I share it with others.
If any of this resonates with you, I would love to have you join me.
trust your body. trust your self.
